• 2015-2016 Singer backed Jeb Bush over Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential primary, publicly promoting Bush's campaign.
• Record Singer has a documented history of donating to Trump's political opponents.
• Token Singer gave far more to anti-Trump Republicans than he ever gave to Trump's own campaign. He donated a token amount only after the writing was on the wall.

In June 2022, Mayor Scott Singer signed an official City of Boca Raton proclamation declaring July "Muslim Heritage Month" on behalf of the Islamic Center of Boca Raton, encouraging residents to visit the mosque.
