Singer also collected $1.29 million in salaries as president of the Ormjmp Foundation, a nonprofit with public ties to builder and construction interests. He then backed One Boca, a massive developer-backed redevelopment plan involving city-owned public land. Voters rejected it overwhelmingly.
Don't be fooled by Singer's misleading advertising. President Trump has never endorsed him or supported his campaign for Congress.
In June 2022, Mayor Scott Singer signed an official City of Boca Raton proclamation declaring July "Muslim Heritage Month" on behalf of the Islamic Center of Boca Raton, encouraging residents to visit the mosque.
Prior members of the Islamic Center of Boca Raton were arrested and charged in 2005 for conspiring to aid al-Qaeda. The mosque's seed funding of $600,000 came from the Global Relief Foundation, designated by the U.S. Treasury Department for ties to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. When confronted, Singer dismissed all concerns.
While real conservatives defended the Second Amendment, Scott Singer was marching alongside gun-control activists and bragging about it.
